Escuela Del Mar Surf School

Our local partner surf school Escuela del Mar has a privileged and unique location on Carenero Island. We are close to easy waves for beginners and also waves for more experienced surfers.

We provide clear explanations on every subject before going in the water and after 30 minutos of preparation we go in our boat to the best waves around. We spend around 2 hours in the water and go back to our surf school house.

Learn to surf with expert coaches

Our surf instructors use easy-to-follow teaching techniques designed to help you master one of the most physically demanding parts of surfing: paddling.

Our experienced and dedicated team will help you learn to surf efficiently and with confidence. With years of local knowledge in Bocas del Toro, our instructors provide clear explanations before every session, covering surfing basics, safety, and all you need to know, before heading into the water.

Bringing surf to the community

Surfing is much more than a simple sport for us and in Escuela del Mar we also support our Bocas del Toro local community to help the young kids develop their passion for surf. Through surfing the new and young generation develop important values for our society. In Escuela Del Mar we support local foundations that brings kids around the island together and enjoy life through surfing.
